Step 1: Pause Before Action (1 min)

• Before you begin any activity, briefly consider: “Whom do I aim to please?"

Step 2: Consult the Heart (2–3 min)

• What feelings are present when you consider doing the activity?

• What feelings arise when you consider not doing it?

• Place a hand over your heart and ask:
  “What does my heart tell me about this activity?"

Step 3: Affirm Your Heart (2-3 min)

• Regardless of the response, thank your heart for its honesty.

• You might inwardly say, “I am learning to follow my heart.”

• Consider: What’s one small action you can take today to honor your heart?
