Funny that the line that moved me the most was the one where you describe the circle of ‘girls’ talking in pairs. I could feel it, ‘finally exhaling after decades of holding their breath.’ It suddenly felt easier to find our way back even as I know there is so much healing to do, each and every one of us. Like you say the wound is vast. And I see a way home.
