Ecology, Storytelling, Myth, and Science
This spring I stumbled upon Sophie’s opus, The Madonna Secret, a vividly imaginative and soulful historical fiction that is grounded in somatic, sensory intelligence, and portrays Earth herself as a vital character in the love story of Mary Magdalene and Jesus. I’m also relishing her Substack and the many ways she invites readers to view life and human experience from an embodied and previously unconsidered point of view.
